Growing means outgrowing πΏ
If you're reading this, I know you are committed to your growth and evolution.
I mean, why else would you fuck with me?
Today, I feel called to name a thing that definitely happens when you're committed to growing, evolving, and changing on purpose:
You will outgrow certain affiliations, situations, and relationships.
meaning
Arrangements that used to work for you will no longer work.
Partnerships that used to sustain you will begin to drain you.
You'll get sick of having the same conversation again and again.
You'll become clearer/more aligned with your values . . . and much less willing/able to tolerate bullshit and fuckery.
You'll no longer want to play the role people are expecting you to play.
Like a houseplant outgrowing its pot, you will want more space and fresh dirt and more of the fertilizer that's feeding your growth.
This will be exhilarating, but also terrifying.
This will spark courageous new beginnings, but also require difficult, even heartbreaking, endings.
You will feel free, but also often lonely.
And I guess I just want to tell you: I'm right here with you.
I just want to tell you that the more boldly yourself you are - the more faithful to your impulse and power to grow -
the more quickly the next right people and places and opportunities will reveal themselves.
I just want to tell you that trying to keep things the same when you've changed only gets more and more exhausting and demoralizing.
I just want to tell you that you know what you need to do, and yes it is hard and yes it is always worth it.
love,
Natalie
