Oh right we're earthlings 🌏
I always get so awestruck as we approach a Solstice.
Isn't it something to remember that we're on a ball of water, rock, and air, spinning around a star?
It's also so fascinating to me that while our Solstices mark extremes - maximum and minimum daylight - they're also at juuust the beginning of the summer & winter seasons.
Like, the end of more and more daylight is the beginning of summer.
The longest day isn't the hottest day, because land and water need time to fully warm up. Likewise, the shortest day isn't the coldest day, because they need time to fully cool down.
I love these existential reminders:
* We don't move in straight lines; we move in circles and cycles.
* Every ending is also a beginning.
* Results take time to manifest.
Which one of these is a balm for you right now?
Apply liberally.
love,
Natalie
